    This is an exceptionally well-graded, chunky, pine bark-based loose impact absorbing surface (LIAS) from Melcourt ‘deluxe’ range. Widely used and suitable with all play equipment, including climbing frames, slides and space nets. The UK’s leading brand of LIAS and used extensively throughout the country for well over 20 years.

    Nominal particle size 10–40mm. Use at depths of 300mm, 200mm and 100mm giving critical fall heights of 6.01metres, 3.82 metres and 1.33 metres respectively.

  • Second Hand Grade 1 Continental Softwood Railway Sleepers

    Second-hand railway sleepers will be Grade 1 Continental softwood classified as good condition.

    A Grade 1 railway sleeper is a used sleeper in very good condition. It will have bolt holes where the tracks were attached to it and a small amount of damage or slight wane is acceptable to one edge. It is very sound, free from rot and can be used for stacking, building retaining walls and many other uses where a clean straight edged appearance is essential.

    These sleepers are generally black in colour as they have been treated with creosote.
